More National Attention Coming Florida State’s Way
More recognition for the Florida State women’s basketball team keeps coming. In their preseason rankings, Sporting News lists the Seminoles at No. 23 while CBSSports.com put the Sweet 16 team at 22nd. FSU did not make it into the Gballmag.com Top 10, but was among the teams also receiving votes.
FSU Has Plenty Scheduled For Home Games This Season
Interest in the Florida State women’s basketball team has been growing by leaps and bounds. Last year the Seminoles averaged a school-record 2,010 fans per game, which is up by 999 fans from 2003-04 season. Three-straight 20 wins seasons have been the majority of the reason, but the work of FSU’s marketing office has certainly helped. This year the staff has more exciting promotions planned for all 12 home games, including Operation Sellout on February 28 against Miami.
