Women’s Golf in Tenth Place After Two Rounds

COLUMBIA, SC — The Florida State women’s golf team is in tenth place after
two rounds of the Lady Gamecock Classic at the University Club in Columbia,
SC. The Lady Seminole team score of 644 is four strokes back of Wake
Forest University and one ahead of Mississippi State University.


Amy Bond leads all FSU golfers after an 80 in the second round. Her
two-day total of 157 puts her in a tie for 20th. Louise Wright fired an 83
to stand tied for 37th place at 162. Sarah Capie and Aguri Okura are tied
for 41st place after rounds of 82 for both golfers. Amy Spooner rounded
out the scoring for the Lady Seminoles, standing tied for 52nd at 166.


The final round of the Lady Gamecock Classic will take place tomorrow morning.
