Women’s Golf Team in Fifth after Two Rounds

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida State women’s golf team is in fifth place
after the second round of the Lady Gator Invitational. The Lady Seminole
team score of 603 is 14 strokes behind Louisiana State University.

Erika Iding leads the Tribe with a two-day total of 149. Iding is
currently tied for 17th with six other golfers. Amy Bond, a junior from
Ocala, FL, fired a second-round 77 to finish the day tied for 28th at 151.
Louise Wright is currently tied for 36th in her first tournament as a
collegiate. Sarah Capie and Amy Spooner rounded out the scoring, finishing
the day tied for 63rd and 69th, respectively.

The University of Georgia currently leads the tournament after firing a
team score of 282 today. The Lady Bulldogs are seven strokes ahead of
Florida and Louisiana State.

Julia Boros of Georgia is leading the tournament after a 66 today. Sara
Beautell of Florida is one stroke behind.

The third and final round of the Lady Gator Invitational will take place
