Women’s Golf Third In Seminole Invitational

TALLAHASSEE, FL. — After first-round action of the 1999 Lady
Seminole Golf Invitational, Florida State is in third place with a team
score of 307 while Mississippi State leads the eight-team field with a
team score of 278.



Individually, three of the top four places belong to Mississippi
State players, with Lina Toren leading the way with a score of 68.
Florida State’s Louise Wright led the Lady Seminoles with an opening
round 75, tied for eighth place.

Following Wright in the top 25 for
Florida State were Kristin Tamulis (12th – 76), Laura Kowalski (16th –
77), Beth McCumber (21st – 79). Other Lady Seminole scores after the
first round include Stacey Burgin (32nd – 82), Alison Zimmer (32nd –
82), Kristen Sanborn (40th – 86) and Kelley Winship (41st – 87).



Second round action begins at 8:30 a.m at the Seminole Golf
Course.
