SEMINOLE NEWCOMERS STEPPING UP EARLY
Second-year head coach Amy Bond has utilized at least two newcomers in the Seminoles’ starting line-up in the first two tournaments of the fall season. Two new Seminoles – Malin Jansson and Carlton Kuhlo – helped lead Florida State to a fifth place finish at the Mo Morial Tournament to open the season. Bond will count on three newcomers – Laure Castelain, Jansson and Alex Milan — at this week’s Susie Berning Maxwell Classic. Kuhlo, who finished in 29th place in the individual standings at the Mo Morial, Castelain and Milan were the three freshmen who made up Florida State’s nationally ranked recruiting class in 2010.
