The 2010 NCAA Women’s Swimming & Diving Championships resumed Friday, March 19 on the campus of Purdue University. Florida State swimmers Stephanie Sarandos and Charlotte Broadbent each competed in one event on the second day of the meet.
Sarandos, who finished 56th at last year’s meet in the 100 back, moved up to 38th place this time around with a time of 54.44 in the preliminary round.
Sophomore Broadbent, competing in her second event of the meet, finished 42nd in the 400 IM preliminary round with a time of 4:20.98.
The Seminoles return to the pool tomorrow for the final day of the meet where Sarandos will compete in the 200 back while Broadbent and freshman Marissa Harrington compete in the 1650 free.
