Women’s Soccer Drops To No. 22 Texas A&M

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Florida State soccer team dropped a close match
to the #22 Texas A&M Aggies 2-1 tonight at the Aggie Soccer Stadium. FSU
falls to 8-7 as the Aggies improve to 12-4.

The Aggies scored first with Heather Ragsdale taking an assist from
Heather Wiebe to the back of the goal at the 14:17 mark, giving Texas A&M the
1-0 lead at halftime. Seminole junior April Murphy took an assist from fellow
junior Sarah Deacon just under two minutes into the second half to tie the
game at 1-1. The Aggies scored another at the 77th minute to clinch the 2-1
win. Goalkeeper Sarah Crawford notched 10 saves on the night.

The Seminoles return home this Friday, October 22 to take on the NC State
Wolfpack at the Seminole Soccer Complex beginning at 7:00pm.
