Aug. 17, 1999

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – As the Seminole Soccer team heads into the heart
of preseason practice, the team will hold its first intrasquad scrimmage on
Wednesday, August 18 at 6:00pm at the Seminole Soccer Complex. The
scrimmage will be open to the public.

“Now that we have a finalized roster, this will be our first time
out as a complete team,” Head Coach Patrick Baker said. “This scrimmage
will be a good opportunity for us to see where our strengths and weaknesses
are and then work from there.”

The Seminoles return 13 veterans from the 1998 squad and welcome 13
newcomers, including one senior, one junior and 11 freshmen. The 1999
season will mark the first full season in the new Seminole Soccer Complex.
