Women’s Tennis Defeats Baylor, 5-4.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.— The Florida State women’s tennis team took two of the
three doubles matches to defeat Baylor University 5-4 this afternoon at the
Scott Speicher Tennis Center on the Florida State campus. The Seminoles
improve their record to 6-6.

Ali Weber had the first win for the Seminoles, defeating Karin Anderson
at the no.2 position 6-1, 6-0. Kia Asberg won her match at no.3 over
Claudia Aguiler 6-0,6-0 as Natalie Carratala won her match over Vicki
Jordan at the no. 6 position 7-5,6-1.

With the match tied 3-3 going into the doubles, Kylie Thompson and Sasha
Hanna won the no.1 doubles 8-6 and Weber and Helena Karlsson won at no.3
8-0 to give the Seminoles the win, 5-4.

The Seminoles next home match is Saturday at 10am against Wake Forest.
