TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Florida State women’s tennis (1-0) team looks to pick up where they left off last week as they head to Champaign, Ill. to take on Illinois this Sunday at 10:30 a.m. ET
The Seminoles are coming off a shutout win over Utah in Honolulu and an impressive performance in the Rainbow Wahine Invitational against the University of Hawaii and the University of Utah.
The Garnet and Gold lead the all-time series with the Fighting Illini 6-2 but fell short a season ago when they lost to Illinois 4-0 in Tallahassee.
The Seminoles are looking to avenge their loss from a season ago to improve to 2-0 on the season as they are led by a Juniors Ariana Rahmanparast and Julia Mikulski as well as sophomores Andrea Garcia and Carla Touly, who are all 3-0 on the early season.
