BUFFALO, N.Y. — Florida State sophomore Zuzette Mullings jumped 19-6.25
(5.95m) to finish 17th overall in the long jump at the NCAA Outdoor Track &
Field Championships. Angie Brown of George Mason took top honors with a
mark of 21-7.50 (6.59m).

Mullings, a sophomore from Ellicott City, MD, qualified for NCAA
competition with a collegiate-best jump of 20-4.50 (6.21m) in winning the
ACC long jump title earlier this year. She earned All-America status as a
member of the Lady Seminole 4x100m relay team at last year’s NCAA Outdoor
Championships.
