Women’s Track Finishes Season at Indoor Championships

INDIANAPOLIS — Junior Lakeisha Mose and senior Rikke Ronholt
concluded their indoor season this afternoon at the 1998 NCAA Indoor Track
& Field Championships.

Ronholt, who came to Indianapolis with the fourth fastest time nationally
in the 800m at 2:05.84, failed to advance to the finals. She recorded a
time of 2:08.64 in the event and placed sixth in her heat. Ronholt’s
qualifying time of 2:05.84 set a new FSU and ACC 800m record the week

Mose placed 16th in the women’s 20 lb. weight throw with a toss of
56’7.5″. Mose is also an ACC and FSU record holder in her respective event
and qualified for the NCAAs with a throw of 62’5 at the ACC Championships.

Several FSU athletes will compete at the FAMU Relays in Tallahassee
Saturday and Florida State will host the FSU Relays next weekend at Mike
Long Track.
