Women’s Volleyball Falls To No. 13 Clemson, 3-0

CLEMSON, S.C. – Junior outside hitter Jennifer Werrick recorded
13 kills, but Florida State fell 2-15, 5-15, 7-15 to #13 Clemson at
Jervey Gym this evening. FSU falls to 5-11 overall and 0-5 in the ACC
while league-leading Clemson remains perfect at 16-0 overall and 5-0 in
conference play.

Florida State played without senior leader Aisha Thornton, who
was ill, and freshman Kristin Frye, who is out at least four weeks with
a hairline fracture to her right ankle. Sophomore Norisha Campbell’s
.300 hitting peformance led the team. She also added eight kills and
four blocks on the night.

Florida State will face Georgia Tech tomorrow at 7:30 p.m., in
Atlanta.
