World University Games Wrap Up in Taiwan

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida State sophomores Vladimir Stefanik and Felipe Ribeiro de Souza competed at the 2017 World University Games last week in Taipei, Taiwan at the National Taiwan Sport University Arena.

Stefanik represented Slovakia and competed in three individual events, placing 55th in the 100m free (51.54), 50th in the 100m fly (55.84) and 48th in the 50m free (23.62).

Ribeiro finished 25th in the 200m free (1:51.28), which was his only individual event of the meet. He was also a member of the 4×200 free relay for Brazil, however the team was disqualified.
