Wright Leads Seminoles In Dodge ACC/SEC Shootout

SANDESTIN, Fla. – Senior Louise Wright (Ipswich, England) shot a nine-over
par 80 and Florida State is in 10th place after the first round of the
Inaugural Dodge ACC/SEC Shootout at the Raven Golf Course at the Sandestin
Golf and Beach Club. Celeste Troche of Auburn University was the only
player to shoot ever par during the round and she has led the Tigers, who
shot a 21-over par 305, into the team lead after one round.

Troche was the only player to in the group of 60 players on 12 teams
to shoot par as the round was played under windy conditions. Leigh Turner
(two-over par 73) and Jennifer Prange (three-over par 74) are in second and
third place respectively and helped Furman place second in the team
competition after the first round.

Wright led four Seminoles who are within four strokes of each other
in the individual standings. Kristin Tamulis (81), Alison Curdt (82) and
Beth McCumber (83) follow Wright (80). The Seminoles are within 17 strokes
of the third place team, Alabama.
