Admission

  • Admission to the 2023 Florida State Match-Up is FREE and open to the general public.

Playing Format

  • 54 holes of stroke play.
  • If travel schedules allow, ties will be decided by sudden death playoff on hole 18.
  • The first round of 18 holes will be played on Friday, March 17 (8:45 a.m. to 10:35 a.m. tee times).
  • The second round of 18 holes will be played on Saturday, March 18 (8:45 a.m. to 10:35 a.m. tee times).
  • The final round of 18 holes will be played on Sunday, March 19 (8:30 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. tee times).
  • The Match-Up portion of the tournament will be determined by taking the best four scores from the partners (which is a total of ten players) and the worst score to make the Match Up team total. At the end of the tournament, the teams with the lowest score will win the Match Up.
  • An individual champion will be crowned along with a team champion. 

Tournament Tidbits

  • The Florida State Match-Up Tournament is a very unique event and the first one of its kind in NCAA Women’s Golf.
  • This will mark the 10th year the Florida State Match-Up has been played. It first began on February 15-17, 2013.
  • The Seminole Legacy Golf Club will be hosting the Florida State Match-Up for the third time.
  • Since its massive renovation, the Legacy Club has hosted the 2021 NCAA Tallahassee Men’s Golf Regional, the 2021 Florida State Match-up, the 2022 Florida State Match-up and the 2022 NCAA Tallahassee Women’s Golf Regional.
