TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – After waiting a year to play for the Florida State women’s tennis team, sophomore and Montbrison, France native Carla Touly is excited to begin play for the first time in garnet and gold on January 12th against Utah in Honolulu, Hawai’i.
In her final weeks before beginning play for the Seminoles Touly earned an impressive tournament victory in the Open Valence Tennis Masters event in France. Touly dominated her opponent in straight sets as she took down Morgane Pons, the No. 31 ranked women’s tennis player in France.
Touly and the rest of the Seminoles begin play in Hawai’I on January 12th against Utah and will play their first home match on February 10th with a double-header against FAU and Mercer.
