TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Florida State’s Carly Wynn was named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America Third Team Monday morning, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America.

The announcement marks the second year in a row in which Wynn earned third-team All-America honors for her work in the classroom.

Wynn, who led the Seminoles in a myriad of offseason categories on the field this season, maintained a 3.68 grade-point average in the classroom while majoring in psychology. She earned CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District III First Team honors in early May.

Wynn has also been named to the All-ACC First Team and Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division I All-Region Second Team so far this year.
