TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced 551 members of the Women’s 2010 Division I All-Academic Track & Field Team Wednesday afternoon and six Florida State student-athletes made the list.

Kim Williams and Amanda Winslow all received the honor.

“I’m so proud of our ladies,” Florida State coach Bob Braman said. “You have to be a national qualifier to be considered, so these are truly the best student-athletes in the country. Having so many honored just blows me away.”

To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track & Field Team, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.25.

They must also have met either the NCAA Division I Indoor automatic or provisional qualifying standard or participated in the NCAA Division I Outdoor Championships (including preliminary rounds) in their respective event.

The men’s team will be announced on Thursday, July 29.
