ACC LIVE Spotlights FSU Softball’s “Fun and Games” Tandem Tonight

May 9, 2005

ACC LIVE: Monday, 5/9 at 6:30 p.m. ET; re-airs at 11:30 p.m., and Tuesday, 5/10 at 1 a.m. (In Florida the show will broadcast on Sun Sports)

Reporter Jenn Hildreth profiles Florida State junior outfielders Natasha Jacob and Carly Brieske–who have carried creativity to a different level with their multi-media chronicling of the Seminoles’ banner season– tonight on the ACC Live show at 6:30 p.m. ET.

On the official FSU athletic website right here, Jacob files daily diary notes in Tasha’s Thoughts, and Brieske, with her Carly’s Corner, counters with frequent interview transcripts from her conversations with FSU fans, boosters and athletic department personnel.

ACC Live airs on Mondays

In helping FSU to a 32-14 record (11-6 in the ACC), this dynamic duo is justifying the notion that college softball really is “fun and games.” Jacob leads FSU in batting (.350), hits (62), runs (26) and total bases (70), while Brieske has started 14 games and contributed a pair of doubles in helping the Seminoles land the No. 2 seed in next weekend’s ACC Tournament.

PROGRAMMING NOTE: On Sunday, 5/15 (4:30 p.m.), FSN South has live coverage of the ACC Softball Championship Game, from College Park. Md.
