Tallahassee, Fla. – The Florida State women’s tennis is set to host their final fall tournament, the Seminole All-Conference Showdown this weekend. The tournament runs from Friday Nov. 8 through Sunday, Nov. 10 at the Scott Speicher Tennis Center in Tallahassee, Fla.
The tournament is comprised of 17 teams representing 10 DI conferences. Florida State will host Tulane, Wisconsin, Furman, Troy, UCF, Middle Tennessee State, East Tennessee State, McNeese State, UNF, Clemson, Southern Miss, USF, Auburn, Arkansas, South Carolina and Iowa State.
WHAT: Seminole All-Conference Showdown
WHO: Athletes from 17 different schools and 10 difference conferences will be competing in an individual singles and doubles tournament.
WHEN: Friday-Sunday, Nov. 8-10

Format & Scoring
-Singles and doubles brackets of eight
-Singles will be best two out of three sets with a third set tiebreak until the championship match of each bracket
-Doubles will be played to six
-Back draw will be played out (first round losers play for 5th-8th place, second round losers play for 3rd/4th place)
Play will begin at 9 a.m. every morning starting with one round of doubles followed by one round of singles.
