TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – After a dominant 4-0 week against No. 5 Florida and No. 6 Miami, No. 17 Florida State (10-6) is back at Dick Howser Stadium Wednesday for a 6 p.m. game against UCF (9-10). The game will air nationally on ACC Network, with Chris Cotter and Mike Rooney on the call.

Florida State is led by the reigning NCBWA National Hitter of the Week Robby Martin. The sophomore hit .550 with three doubles, three home runs, nine runs scored and 12 RBI against the Gators and Hurricanes. He was also named the ACC Player of the Week.
Designated hitter Parker Messick was named the John Olerud Two-Way Player of the Week after notching five hits at the plate and throwing 6.2 innings of four-hit ball with 10 strikeouts at Miami.
Starting pitcher Carson Montgomery made his first midweek start last Tuesday against No. 5 Florida, stifling the Gators offense over 4.2 innings. The freshman struck out nine batters and allowed just two runs.
The Seminoles are 37-7 all-time against the Knights.
UCF is coming off back-to-back series wins against North Florida and Jacksonville. The Knights also took two-of-three earlier this season on the road at No. 1 Ole Miss.
