TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – This weekend’s baseball series featuring top-ranked Florida State and Boston College will now be played at the University of Rhode Island beginning on Friday, March 28. The series originally slated to be played on Eddie Pellagrini Diamond at Commander Shea Field had to be moved due to the continuing cold weather affecting field conditions.
The Seminoles (19-5, 7-2 ACC) and the Eagles (7-15, 1-8 ACC) will play at Rhode Island’s Bill Beck Field on Friday at 1 p.m., Saturday at 1 p.m. and on Sunday at noon.
Directions to the University of Rhode Island
From the North: Take I-95 South to exit #9 on the left to Route 4 South towards Newport/South County. Merge onto RI-4 South. Take Exit #5B Route 102 towards Exeter. Take a left at the second traffic light onto South County Trail – Route 2. Follow route 2 for approximately 7 miles. Take a left at the traffic light onto route-138W/Kingstown Rd. The entrance to the Athletic Complex will be on your left (approximately 2 miles).
From the South: Take 95 North. Get off at exit #3A Route 138 East towards Kingston and Newport. Follow Route RI-138West/Kingstown Rd. for approximately 8 miles. The entrance to the Athletic Complex will be on your left.
