TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (seminoles.com) – Florida State junior center back Tiana Brockway (Tacoma, Wash.) – who led the Seminoles defense to a pair of shutout wins on the road against Virginia Tech (2-0) and North Carolina (1-0), in addition to initiating the goal sequence vs. the Tar Heels in double overtime of the ACC Tournament Quarterfinals – headlines the latest edition of the CS360 Primetime Performers of the Week for Division I women’s soccer, as selected by CollegeSoccer360.com

Brockway, the week-11 CS360 Primetime Player of the Week, helped FSU secure a spot in the ACC Tournament with their 2-0 win at Virginia Tech, followed by a 1-0, double-OT victory at North Carolina in the ACC quarterfinal round.

Brockway – alongside fellow defenders Toni Pressley, Ines Jaurena and Kassey Kallman – led the Seminole defensive unit that allowed only three shots-on-goal (all by UNC) during the high-pressure week, spanning 195 minutes of play. The win at Virginia Tech saw the Seminoles limit the Hokies to three total shots (none on target) and a pair of corner kicks.

The win over North Carolina was the first in Chapel Hill for the Seminoles in 10 visits; in addition, it marked UNC’s first-ever loss in the ACC Tournament ending a 62-game unbeaten streak (58-0-4 entering this year’s tournament)

With overtime looming in Sunday’s quarterfinal match, Brockway delivered a corner kick to the far corner of the box. Ella Stephan’s ensuing header was tipped off the crossbar by UNC keeper Anna Sieloff and Jessica Price one-timed the rebound for the golden goal in the 105th minute of action.

Brockway and the Seminoles return to the state of North Carolina on Friday, November 4 when they take on second-seeded Virginia in the second semifinal of the ACC Tournament in Cary, N.C., at WakeMed Park. Match is set for 7:30 p.m. and can been seen on ESPN3.com.
