KNOXVILLE, Tenn. –Sophomore Thomas Neubacher scored 391.05 points en route to achieving a third place finish on the men’s one meter springboard at the 2012 Winter Diving National Championships, hosted by the University of Tennessee at the Allan Jones Aquatic Complex.
Neubacher qualified for tonight’s final in the seventh spot, two places behind Landon Marzullo, who finished out the event in fifth place with a total of 365.75.
As for his brother, senior Michael Neubacher posted a sixth place finish in the quarterfinal of the men’s platform event. His score of 408.50 will move him on to the semifinals, which will start tomorrow at 10 a.m. The final round will follow at 2 p.m.
