‘Coach Sue Versus’ Kicks Off This Friday

Oct. 25, 2012

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The women’s basketball season is right around the corner and Florida State head coach Sue Semrau needs some last-minute help to get ready for the season. Coach Sue is looking to hone her competitive skills by participating in four different challenges across the Tallahassee community over the next two weeks.

Modeled after Shaquille O’Neal’s popular “Shaq Vs.” television show, Coach Sue will challenge experts in their respective fields to competitions. The FSU players will be there to support as will the Seminoles marketing team with prizes.

“Coach Sue Versus” kicks off this Friday at 6:40 p.m. at the Community Stage at the Downtown Getdown. Coach Sue and the team will be present to give out FSU t-shirts to fans who tell them the secret pass phrase (“Sue Versus”).

Coach Sue will also be making stops at Chick-fil-A, Starbucks and the Leach Center on campus. A full schedule is below.

The Seminoles open the regular season on Nov. 11 at 2 p.m. against Samford at the Donald L. Tucker Center in Tallahassee. FSU will also host Shorter in an exhibition at 2 p.m. on Nov. 3.

Season tickets are on sale now at $40 for adults and $20 for youth and seniors. Please visit http://www.seminoles.com/sports/w-baskbl/tickets.html or call the Seminole Ticket Office at 1-888-FSUNOLE to purchase tickets.
