Caitlin Quinn is the Associate Director for Olympic Strength and Conditioning at Florida State University where she primarily works with Women’s Volleyball and Softball. Quinn began her tenure at Florida State in 2007 as a Graduate Assistant Strength and Speed Coach while earning a Master of Science Degree in Athletic Administration. Originally from Pittsfield Massachusetts, Quinn is also a graduate of Springfield College where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Exercise Science. Aside from having the privilege of working directly with two highly successful nationally ranked teams, Quinn also works closely with the Graduate Assistants responsible for the Beach Volleyball team as well as Florida State’s Cheer and Dance programs. Winner of the 2014 NSCA Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year Award, Quinn attributes her success in the field to her colleagues and mentors within the field. Every day Quinn strives to foster an environment of collaborative coaching at FSU, teaching a leadership course within the Sport Sciences Master’s program and works closely with Strength and Conditioning interns and other young professionals in the field.
