Florida State is trying to set a new women’s basketball attendance record at the Tallahassee Leon County Civic Center when the Florida Gators come to town on Thursday, November 29, 2001. Rally rags will be given out to the first 1,000 fans and the first 100 fans who bring a homemade poster to the game will receive a free slice of pizza from the Hoop Troop. The FSU cheerleaders and Golden Girls will perform a special halftime show for the fans. There will be face-painting and inflatable games prior to the 7 p.m. tip. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
The Seminoles are off to their best start in nearly two decades with a 4-0 record. Florida will enter the contest with a 2-2 record and are ranked No. 18 in the nation.
Ticket prices are $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for children 18 and under and senior citizens, and $2.00 a ticket for groups of 20 or more.
