Seminole Golf Summer Update

Seminoles, both current and former players, are competing hard this summer. Current student-athletes Jack Maguire and Josh Lee are playing here in the United States while former All-Americans Jonas Blixt, Brooks Koepka and George McNeill are gearing up for the Open Championship in England.

M. Golf – 6/20/2014

Jack Maguire was named as a PING third team All-American by the Golf Coaches Association of America on Thursday. This comes days after Maguire was named a second team All-American by Golfweek.

M. Golf – 6/17/2014

Freshman Jack Maguire was named as a second team All-American by Golfweek Tuesday morning. He becomes the first freshman on the men’s golf team to be named an All-American at Florida State.

Koepka, Berger Excel At 2014 U.S. Open

M. Golf – 6/15/2014

Former All-Americans Brooks Koepka and Daniel Berger both played some of their best golf this weekend at the U.S. Open at Pinehurst No. 2. Koepka finished tied for fourth while Berger carded the lowest round of the day.

Koepka Enters Final Round of U.S. Open Tied For Seventh


M. Golf – With one round of play left at the 2014 U.S. Open, former All-American Brooks Koepka is tied for seventh place. After a 72 on Saturday, Koepka is at even par for the tournament and it eight strokes behind first place Martin Kaymer.
