Tulsa, Okla. – Sophomore Aziz Dougaz defeated Southern Cal’s Thibault Forget in two sets 7-6 (6), 6-4 to advance to the second round of the 2016 Saint Francis Health System ITA Men’s All-American Championships on Monday. Forget is ranked No. 85 in the nation according to the latest ITA singles rankings. “Aziz fought hard in both sets against a tough opponent,” head coach Dwayne Hultquist said.

“I’m proud of the way he really found his serve in the second set to come back to win.”

Dougaz will play Columbia’s Victor Pham Tuesday morning in round 2 at 10:00 a.m. EST.  The winner will play round 3 later in the day for the opportunity to advance to the main draw.
