ESPN Releases 2022 Softball TV Designations

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — ESPN released the TV designations for nearly 200 televised games and more than 1,900 matchups across its digital networks on Wednesday. Florida State will have 16 nationally televised games across the ACC Network, SEC Network ESPNU and ESPN 2.

Along with Florida State’s 16 games on TV, All of the Seminoles’ home games will be found on ACC Network Extra and the ESPN App.

Florida State’s first televised game is on Wednesday, February 16 at 2 pm against South Alabama. The Noles have five of their six games that week on TV as four of the five games at the St. Pete Clearwater Elite Invitational will be televised.

FSU’s game against Tennessee on Thursday, February 17 and their game against Texas on Friday, February 18 are both on ESPNU. The Noles’ game against Michigan on Saturday, February 19 is on the ACC Network and they cap off the weekend against UCLA on Sunday, February 20 at 7 pm on ESPN2.

FSU’s second game at Georgia Tech (March 12) is on the ACC Network and that is followed up with two games on the SEC Network – at Alabama (March 16) and at Florida (April 6). The Garnet and Gold’s last game against Virginia Tech (April 10) will also be on the ACC Network.

All three games of the Clemson series (April 21-23) will be televised as the first game is on ESPN2 as a part of ESPN’s Thursday Night Throwdown Game of the Week. Games two and three are both on the ACC Network.

The Noles are highlighted on Thursday night once again the next week against Oklahoma State (April 28) on ESPN2. Game three against OSU (April 29) is on ESPNU. That is followed up by another ESPNU game against Florida (May 4).

Florida State caps of the regular season on the ACC Network at NC State (May 8). All of the ACC Tournament will be broadcasted on the ACC Network.
