TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – With the 2017 season set to start on February 17 against VCU, the No. 5 Florida State baseball team is inviting fans of the program to attend Fan Day presented by Whataburger Saturday, February 11, from 11-12:30 at Dick Howser Stadium. Fans can pick up the 2017 poster and the players and coaches will be signing autographs, taking photos and talking with fans throughout the event.
Following the Fan Day festivities, the Seminoles will hold the final scrimmage of the season beginning at roughly 1:30 p.m. Fans are encouraged to stick around for their first look at the 2017 team that ranks in the top five of five major polls entering the season. Florida State also has four preseason All-Americans, including First Team infielders Taylor Walls and Dylan Busby.
On Thursday, February 16, the night before the season opener, Florida State will host its 32nd Annual Leadoff Dinner at the Tallahassee Car Museum. Fans can mingle with players and coaches while eating Mom and Dad’s Italian Restaurant.
Fan Day is free for everyone. The Leadoff Dinner is $75 (reserved seating with players and coaches) or $30 (general admission) and tickets can be purchased here.
