TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Florida State announced the addition of Allison Royalty, a transfer pitcher from Arizona State on Tuesday.

At Arizona State: As a freshman in 2021 Royalty appeared in 32 games with 19 starts… she finished her freshman campaign with an 11-6 record, a 3.20 ERA and a team-leading 121 strikeouts… she became the fastest freshman pitcher at Arizona State to strike out 100 batters since Dallas Escobedo in 2011… she was named to the Pac-12 All-Freshman Team… as a sophomore she played in 15 games with six starts and earned a 4.86 ERA… she struck out 37 batters in 31.2 innings of work… she finished her sophomore season with a 2-1 record… in her two seasons at Arizona State Royalty went 13-7 with a 3.54 ERA and 158 strikeouts in 156.1 innings.
High School: In 2018 Extra Innings ranked Royalty the No. 38 player in the class of 2020, and in 2020, FloSoftball recognized her as the No. 4 prospect in the class … A dominant right-hander, Royalty helped lead the Athletics Mercado/Smith 18u club team to a 2019 PGF 18u Premier National Championship … She also aided her team to a second-place showing at the IDT Boulder Tournament
