TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Florida State women’s soccer team looks to improve to 5-0 this spring as they face Columbus State University on Wednesday, April 15 at 6:00 p.m. at the Seminole Soccer Complex. This is the first-ever meeting between the Seminoles and the Cougars. Wednesday’s game against Columbus State marks the final match of the spring season for the Seminoles.
The Seminoles have been impressive through the first four matches this spring, outscoring opponents 13-3. Tiffany McCarty leads the team in scoring with four goals, while Amanda DaCosta has a team-leading three assists. Every player is contributing to the team’s success during the spring. Nine players have combined to score 17 goals, six players earned a combined eight assists and 12 players earned a combined 56 shots. Goalkeepers Kimmy Diaz and Erin McNulty are splitting time in the box, earning a combined 26 saves, while allowing only three goals this season.
