TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Florida State beach volleyball announced the additions of two transfers on Wednesday – Jordan Polo and Brook Bauer.

“I am so excited to have both Jordan and Brook joining our team this season. They both bring in a lot of experience at a high level and are high-level talents. Jordan has a lot of experience in one of the top conferences in the Pac-12. She is mentally strong and will bring a great intensity to our program. I tried to recruit Brook out of high school from south Florida. I have enjoyed watching her during her time at Pepperdine and she has developed into one of the best players in college beach volleyball.”

At Cal: Was named the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year and to the All-Pac-12 Second Team in 2019… collected 45 wins while playing primarily on the top two courts during her time at Cal… the 45 wins are the 10th most wins by a Cal student-athlete in just three season… earned 29 wins on court two, the most of any play at that position in Cal beach volleyball history… her .703 career winning percentage at Cal ranks the third-best in program history.
Brook Bauer | 6-1 | Fort Lauderdale, Fla. | St. Thomas Aquinas/Pepperdine
At Pepperdine: Was named an AVCA All-American in 2019 and a second-team Volleyball Magazine All-American in 2018 and 2019… earned West Coast Conference (WCC) Defender of the Year honors in 2019 and WCC Freshman of the Year honors in 2018… she amassed 43 career wins after three seasons with the Waves, including the shortened 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic… had a 43-24 overall record for Pepperdine, including a 29-22 record on court one… led the Waves to a WCC Championship crown in 2018 and a pair of NCAA Championship appearances with fifth place and seventh place finishes in 2018 and 2019 respectively.
