Florida State Men’s Tennis Sends Four to ITA All-American Championships

TALLAHASSEE, FLA. – Four members of the Florida State men’s tennis team head to Tulsa, Oklahoma this weekend for the 2019 ITA All-American Championships.  The Noles look to continue their strong start to the 2019-20 fall season.

Play begins this Saturday (Oct. 5) at the University of Tulsa’s Michael D. Case Tennis Center.  Pre-qualifying singles will kick off Saturday and Sunday, with qualifying singles following on Monday and Tuesday.  Qualifying doubles begins play on Tuesday followed by the main draw on Thursday October 10.

Senior Rana-Roop Singh Bhullar, junior Chase Wood, sophomore Juan Martin Jalif and freshmen Loris Pourroy will be representing the Seminoles in Oklahoma.

The men’s championship final will air live on ESPNU Sunday, Oct. 13 at 8 p.m.  Singles quarterfinalists, doubles semifinalists and consolation finalists will receive automatic entry into the 2019 Oracle ITA National Fall Championships in Newport Beach, Calif. Nov. 6-10.
