Florida State Puts Finishing Touches On Gameplan

Oct. 14, 1999

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The top-ranked Florida State Seminoles (6-0)
held their final practice this afternoon before Saturday’s showdown with
the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. The team practiced for 15 periods in shorts
on the Ed Williamson practice fields. All but one player who had missed
practice with an intestinal virus returned to action today.

“We got everybody back today except for Corey Simon,” said head
coach Bobby Bowden. “The guys looked like they really threw and caught well
today. There were really no individual standouts. We were working on
assignments for the most part, so it doesn’t really give the individuals a
chance to shine.”

INJURY REPORT: No new injuries.

Saturday’s game at Doak Campbell Stadium is scheduled for a 7:00
p.m. kickoff. The game will be available on pay-per-view through the
Sunshine Network.
