Florida State Set To Play Final Fall Tournament

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Florida State men’s golf team wraps up the fall season beginning Sunday, October 20 at the 10th Annual Isleworth Collegiate Invitational at the Isleworth Golf and Country Club. The 15-team field tees off beginning at 8:00 a.m. in Windermere, Fla. on the par 72 course.

Florida State has its fourth different lineup of the fall with sophomores Rowin Caron and Hank Lebioda with freshmen Jack Maguire, Anthony Alex and Josh Lee.

This marks the fourth tournament of the fall for both Maguire and Lee. Maguire currently leads the team with a 72.00 stroke average with Caron right behind him with a 72.50. The best showing of the season came from Caron who finished tied for fifth at the Crooked Stick Intercollegiate, which also resulted in the best team finished of the year, fourth.

Hosting the tournament is UCF and Texas Tech. Joining them and Florida State is Alabama, Arkansas, California, Georgia Regents-August, Illinois, LSU, New Mexico, North Florida, TCU, Texas, UNLV and Vanderbilt. The Seminoles last appeared at the tournament in 2007.
