Florida State Volleyball Set To Broadcast Free Matches This Season

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – For the first time in school history, selected Florida State volleyball matches will air live, worldwide and free of charge right here at Beginning with the Seminole’s opener on Friday against Mercer, 10 matches will be offered courtesy of Yahoo! Sports.

FSU women’s basketball broadcaster and veteran volleyball public address announcer, Ryan Pensy, will call the action alongside former Seminole standout Jennifer Anderson.

“I am thrilled for several reasons,” head coach Todd Kress said. “We have many players who are from different states and countries so this will allow all of their families to stay up with all the latest action. Also, it’s a great recruiting tool for the same reason. Potential recruits can listen to our games and get an early taste of Seminole Volleyball.”

Five minutes before the first serve Pensy will provide a pre-game show that provides all the latest news on the team. Between games two and three, he will feature a different athlete each week for a segment called “Seminole Spotlight.”
