Football Holds Practice Inside Due To Rain

Sept. 20, 1999

Tallahassee, FL — The No. 1 ranked Florida State Seminoles began
preparations for Saturday’s 3:30 p.m. game with North Carolina at Chapel
Hill with a night practice in the mat room at Doak Campbell stadium.

“Because of the rain, we were forced to work inside tonight,” said head
coach Bobby Bowden. “We spent 20 minutes on conditioning and then worked
on correcting mistakes from the NC State game. After that, we had an extra
film session on the kicking game and then split offense and defense up for
meetings. As far as the NC State game is concerned, we came out in pretty
good shape besides some nicks and bruises.”

The Seminoles will continue preparations for North Carolina tomorrow with
a practice in full pads.
