TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida State will face UCF for one game on Tuesday, May 13 at 1:00 p.m. in Tallahassee on Mike Martin Field inside Dick Howser Stadium. Both schools had an open date in their schedule due to the fact that weather caused the cancelation of games earlier this year.
The newly added game will serve as Fan Appreciate Day at the ballpark as admission to the game will be free of charge.
The Seminoles and Knights met back in March as FSU swept the two-game mid-week series from UCF down in Orlando. Florida State squeezed out a one-run victory (11-10) in game one before rolling to an 18-1 victory in game two.
Since being swept by the Seminoles, UCF has been a tear winning 21 of its last 26 games. The Knights currently sit in first place in the American Athletic Conference with a 15-3 league record and half a 2.5 game lead on second place Louisville with six game conference games remaining.
Florida State, who hosts Minnesota this weekend, is 16-4 against non-conference foes in 2014.
With the game falling on a Tuesday, select concession items will be priced at $2.
