FSU Continues Preparations For Florida

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The No. 3 Florida State Seminoles (10-1) concluded Thursday evening practice preparations for their game against No. 4 Florida (9-1) on Saturday, Nov. 18. The Garnet and Gold went 15 periods in shorts.

The Seminoles opened up with kickoff returns, followed by kickoffs and punting in periods A-D. Period one and two consisted of skeleton offensive and defensive drills, followed by team assignment drills for both offense and defense. The team moved to “Team Game” stage in periods five through six. The Tribe ended the preparations for this weekend with kicking following two-minute drill offense. Brett Cimorelli went two-of-two from 35+ yards following the two-minute drill.

“We have done everything we can do to get ready for this weekend,” FSU head coach Bobby Bowden said “Travis Minor and Greg Jones looked better today. Now we have to just go out and play the best we can play.”

The Seminoles will kick off against the Florida Gators on Saturday at 8:00 p.m., in Doak Campbell Stadium The game will be televised on ABC.
