TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Florida State Seminoles women’s volleyball team, on the strength of a strong regular season finish, wrapped up the fourth seed in the ACC Tournament, to begin Thursday, Nov. 16. The `Noles finished the season with 3-1 wins over Clemson and Georgia Tech to earn a 9-7 conference record and a fourth seed. The Seminoles will take on fifth-seeded Duke, on Friday, Nov. 17 at 2:00 p.m. Should the Lady `Noles win, they will see the winner of Georgia Tech-NC State on Saturday afternoon.
FSU is 0-2 this season against the Blue Devils, falling 2-3 in Durham, N.C. and dropping a 1-3 match in Tallahassee, Fla. The `Noles are 1-1 against Georgia Tech and 2-0 against North Carolina State, the squad’s next two possible opponents.
FSU heads into the ACC Tournament with a 21-10 overall record and 9-7 in the conference. Duke enters the conference tournament with a 17-11, 6-8 ACC record. FSU is currently 2-0 in neutral locations.
