FSU Men’s Tennis Falls To No. 32 Wake Forest

TALLAHASSEE, FL.–The Florida State men’s tennis team fought hard but did not manage to upset No. 32 Wake Forest University today in Winston-Salem, N.C. as the Demon Deacons roll past the Seminoles 6-1. The Seminoles now stand at 6-7 overall for the season, 2-1 in the ACC.

Florida State dropped the doubles point to the Demon Deacons despite getting a win at the No. 1 position where Gustav Buch and Alex Herrera defeated Wake Forest’s Raul Munoz and David Loewenthal 8-6.

Xavier Luscan at the No. 1 position was the only Seminole to win a singles match this afternoon as he defeated Raul Munoz in straight sets, 6-1, 6-3.

The men will now travel to Dallas, T.X. for a match against Southern Methodist University on Wednesday March 14th at 2 p.m.
