FSU Ready For Aggies

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –  ( – The sixth-ranked Florida State indoor volleyball team heads to College Station, Texas this weekend for a pair of matches against No. 21 Texas A&M starting on Friday at 6 p.m. (CT). The Seminoles and Aggies will play an additional match on Saturday at 11 a.m. (CT).

“We’re getting better,” FSU head coach Chris Poole said. “Texas A&M is a great team. They’re very good. It’s going to be tough playing them there in their home gym. We’ve got to play good solid volleyball. We have as much talent as anybody in the country and we have to be consistent.”

Florida State stretched its streak to 9-0 on Tuesday night after defeating Auburn 3-2. Texas A&M (7-1) made its debut in the AVCA Coaches Poll on Monday after defeating Southern California (3-2) and San Diego (3-1).

The Aggies lead the all-time series 6-3 after taking the last meeting in 2013, 3-0 in College Station.

“We’re going to be focused heading into this weekend,” redshirt senior libero Katie Mosher said. “They just knocked off USC and San Diego, they’re an extremely good team. We’re going to prepare and we know when we’re at our best we can be one of the best teams in the country. As long as we go in there relaxed and limit our errors, we’ll be fine.”

Both matches will be televised on the SEC Network and streamed on ESPN3. For more information on FSU volleyball, visit Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
