TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — It has been a little over three months since the Seminoles recorded the last out of the 2018 season and were crowned NCAA National Champions, but the new mountain to climb for Team 36 starts in just a few weeks as the Florida State softball program will play several exhibition games this fall throughout the southeast.
Fans are encouraged to come out to all events as there will be meet-and-greet and autograph opportunities following all of the fall games, whether at home or on the road.
The Noles will begin on October 7 in Jacksonville, Fla., as the Florida State College at Jacksonville will host FSU for a game at 2:00 p.m. The Seminoles will head west the following weekend, playing a game against Gulf Coast State College in Panama City, Fla., on October 12 at 7:00 p.m. ET, with a game the next day in Gulf Shores, Ala., against Louisiana at 9:00 p.m. ET.
The Seminoles will play a total of three home contests this fall, with each game preceded by a Garnet and Gold scrimmage. Thomas University comes down on October 19 for a game at 5:30 p.m., while FSU and Troy will play on October 21 at 2:00 p.m. Chipola College will head to Tallahassee on October 25 for a game at 5:30 p.m.
Florida State will also travel up to the University of North Georgia on November 4 for a game against the Nighthawks at 12:00 p.m.
Admission is free for all home exhibition games at the Seminole Softball Complex. Game times are subject to change for the entire fall schedule, so continue to check with Seminoles.com and the softball social media accounts for updates throughout the fall.
