Dec. 15, 2004
Tallahassee, Fla. – During the first week of December for any college student is a time when last minute projects are being finished, final exams are being studied for and of course, arrangements are being made to return home for the holidays. On December 1, 2004, the Florida State men’s and women’s tennis teams took a break from their hectic schedules and participated in a community service clinic with over 40 local middle and high school students.
The event, which took place at the Scott Speicher Tennis Center, was organized by the local USTA chapter so the children could meet and play with FSU’s tennis teams. The group participated in tennis drills and then an autograph session took place.
