Devon Travis doubled in his first two at-bats, giving him an ACC-leading 26 on the year, which ties him for No. 8 on the single-season list with Tyler Holt (2010), Tony Richie (’03), Tony McQuade (’02), Marshall McDougall (’99) and Nandy Serrano (’91) … James Ramsey’s HBP in the first inning extends his streak of reaching base safely to 53 straight games … Ramsey has now reached base safely in 63 of 64 games this year … FSU’s five-run first inning equaled its most productive scoring output in the first frame this season, tying its total of five set against Wake Forest on March 25 in a 12-4 win … Ramsey’s single in the second inning extended his hitting streak to 10 games … Tapley finished with a season-high five RBIs … Tapley’s two-home run game is his first since hitting two on May 11, 2008 against Savannah State … Tapley now has 34 career home runs … Justin Gonzalez and Tapley’s back-to-back home runs in the sixth were FSU’s first consecutive round-trippers since Mike McGee and Ramsey did so against Wake Forest on March 27 … The 23 runs and 4 home runs were the most allowed by Texas A&M this season … it took FSU one inning to climb two spots on the team’s single-season list for hit-by-pitches. Texas A&M’s six-run bottom of the third was the fifth time this season the Aggie have scored six or more runs in an inning … Derrick Hadley’s one inning pitched represents the shortest start of the freshman’s career … the two innings pitched ties a career high for RHP Steve Martin … The 23 runs allowed is a season-high for Texas A&M (Previous high was 14 vs Dallas Baptist on May 6) and the most since a 26-9 lost at No. 2 Texas Tech on March 29, 1996 … The four home runs allowed by the Aggies sets a season-high (Previous high was three against Baylor on April 16 and against TCU on April 19) … Four errors also tied an A&M season high (at Texas Tech – April 10)
