TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – After winning three straight games in the NCAA Norwich Regional, Florida State advanced to the Super Regionals for the third year in a row and for the 10th time in school history.
On Monday night, the NCAA Division I Baseball Committee announced that Florida State was selected as one of eight institutional hosts for this weekend’s Super Regional play. Florida State (45-17) will welcome the Vanderbilt Commodores (45-18) to Tallahassee for a best-of-three game series beginning on Friday, June 11.
A minimum of 45 hours of super-regional television will be provided by family of ESPN channels, ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU. Consult local listings for specific games shown in each area of the country. As many as 15 national broadcast windows could appear on the three ESPN networks from June 11-14.
The Seminoles and Commodores will square-off for the first time since meeting in a three-game series in Tallahassee back in 1972. Florida State leads the all-time series at 2-1. The Super Regionals will mark the first postseason showdown between these two schools.

Tickets information for the Tallahassee Regional is as follows:
Tickets will go on-sale beginning Tuesday, June 8 at 8:30 a.m. online at Seminoles.com, over the phone at 888-378-6653 and in-person at the main Seminole Ticket Office at Doak Campbell Stadium. Only full-series tickets will be sold in advance. A limited number of reserved Grand Stand tickets will be available for $35 each. General Admission bleacher seats will be available for $25 each.
