FSU Women’s Sports Offer Up A Valentine’s Treat For Fans!

Feb. 10, 2006

Next week while millions celebrate Valentine’s Day, the Florida State women’s basketball and softball teams will take to the playing field for some valentine festivities of their own!

It all starts on Monday, February 13th at 7 PM as Coach Semrau and the women’s basketball team hosts the Virginia Tech Hokies at Donald L. Tucker Center. The first 100 ladies in attendance will receive free carnations and couples can enter for a chance to win a pair of tickets to “Dan Zanes & Friends” as part of FSU’s Seven Days of Opening Nights. Last season, the Noles and Hokies took part in two epic battles both ending with Seminole victories in overtime. Tickets are only $3 for children and seniors and $5 for adults. For tickets, visit www.seminoles.com or call 64-Go FSU or *FSU on your Alltel Wireless.

Then on Tuesday as cupid strikes again, so do the Seminole Softball pitchers who take to the mound to battle Georgia Southern in a doubleheader starting at 4 PM. The first 250 fans will receive “I Love FSU Softball” key chains. Fans will also have a chance to win a $50 gift certificate at Marie Livingston’s Steak House and tickets to Dan Zanes & Friends. All games are held at JoAnne Graf Field at the Seminole Softball Complex and as always admission is free!
